Who is Rahma? (just a couple of lines to present myself)

rhama, new rnb & hiphop singerMy friends use to call me “Grace”, because it’s the meaning of my real name, but for most of the people that i met during my life music through live shows, studio sessions, artist collaborations, and all the Social Media Communities (MySpace, Virb, imeem) I am Rahma the new singer of Hip–Hop and R&B Music
I’am also a Hip–Hop dancer… But for any other details, check out the biography.

The lyrics in the music

There is one thing i want to make clear. It’s so much important for a singer to express him or herself when he or she write down the lyrics. People would capture the soul of the artist and would have ideas by listening to the message in the music. In songs like “You & I”, “It’s A New Day”, “One Light”, I describe a situation that really belongs to me, but some other times I write down my lyrics thinking about stories that can belong to somebody else and all I try to do is to be an example, or an “intermediary” to some of the situations of that person, making it the “protagonist” of my things.

The inspiration

The thought of giving birth to some things like melodies, lyrics, songs… makes me feel like I can be the “key” for something really important to me, I mean something that without it I wouldn’t feel alive and I wouldn’t give sense to my personality. My inspiration comes from the union of different things that makes me be who I am today… I can just give some important examples (a complete list would be endless): first of all it comes from listening to so many great artists of Hip–Hop and R&B music. Secondly it comes from listening to my mother and family, then from having good friends, traveling, self control, open mind vision of the world and loving life…

The stage

I know for some of you is hard to believe that the stage is the “final step” of the artists work… I try to be more clear… When some of you see the artists performing, you think they are starting their job in that moment, but it’s not like that. What you see is the “end”, the conclusion of a work started so much time before. It’s a final “product” of all the engagements, sacrifices, and preparations — sometimes just in a moral way — dealt with the creation of the project. So i say that stage for me it’s the place where i can really interact with the crowd, having fun with them, completely dedicating myself to all the people in front of me.

The future

What I’m looking for is to become a “tour leader of myself”, organizing incentive travels all around the world for my project, wishing to for good collaborations, nice stuff, making my dreams come true.
